Q: What does the "Screen Doctor" do?
A: We repair window screens on site with the help of a portable work bench that is set up in the garage or driveway. We remove the screen frame from the window, replace the screen material and then reinstall the screen into the window.
Q: I live in a high rise in Chicago's River North neighborhood. I would like pet resistant screen material installed on our patio slider to keep in our cats safe. Can you help?
A: Yes! We have a patio slider screen tuneup service that includes pet resistant fabric and maintenance including track cleaning, lubrication and adjusting.
Q: My whole screen is missing. What can I do?
A: No problem, we can fabricate one to replace it.
Q: Our patio slider has a hole in the material and it does not slide well. Do I need a new door?
A: We are happy to diagnose the problem and quote you a price on a new door as well as a price to repair the existing one. Most sliders can be "tuned up" work like new.
Q: Do you repair gazebos?
A:We can repair gazeboes, porches and patios. We use vinyl coated fiberglass fabric and aluminum screen materials.
Q: We have Anderson windows and some need to be re-screened. Can you repair Anderson?
A: We have to expertice and materials to repair all Anderson window screens.
Q: We heard about a new screen that allows a clearer view. Do you have this?
A: This new screen material has a finer mesh that allows a clearer view and increased airflow. We always carry high visibility fabric.
